Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP)

Imagine a single shipment that needs approvals or data checks from customs, railways, ports, road transport and several other government systems, each historically requiring separate paperwork, separate logins and separate manual verification, before ULIP existed. The Unified Logistics Interface Platform is designed to eliminate exactly that fragmentation, integrating logistics-related data from 11 ministries and 43 separate government systems into a single set of APIs any logistics company can plug into.

The scale of what ULIP actually connects is considerable, 129 APIs covering more than 1,800 data fields, letting a logistics company verify a transporter, track cargo in real time, or check regulatory compliance status without manually contacting each individual department that used to hold a piece of that information separately.

Adoption has grown to genuinely meaningful scale, over 1,300 registered companies and 350-plus formal agreements, with the platform crossing 100 crore cumulative API transactions and now processing roughly one crore transactions every week, real companies, Tata Steel, Asian Paints and Prism Johnson among them, using it for transporter verification and supply chain optimisation rather than treating it as a pilot programme.

ULIP is sometimes described as logistics' own version of UPI, India's real-time payments platform, not because it moves money, but because it plays the same structural role, a shared, standardised digital layer that lets an entire industry's participants interoperate seamlessly instead of each company building separate bilateral integrations with every government system it needs to work with.
